Drug Test Adulteration Test Strips
Adulterants are added to urine, in order to interfere with the accuracy of drug tests. These adulterants are often oxidative in nature – hydrogen peroxide and bleach have been used, sometimes using pH-adjusting substances like vinegar or sodium bicarbonate. These can be detected by drug testing labs or you can buy bottles of drug test adulteration strips that can be purchased as an accessory for drug testing to assure urine specimen validity, but some less expensive tests do not test for them, so we make them available for you in bottles of 25.

- The six-in-one test strips are based on the chemical reactions of the indicator reagents on the pads with components in the urine sample effecting color changes.
-
- Creatinine- Testing the sample for dilution
-
- Glutaraldehyde- Testing for the presence of the exogenous aldehyde.
-
- Nitrite-Testing for the presence of exogenous nitrite.
-
- Oxidants-Testing for the presence of oxidizing reagents.
-
- pH-Testing for the presence of acidic or alkaline adulterant.
- Specific Gravity-Testing for sample dilution according to apparent pKa change of certain pretreated polyelectrolytes in relation to the ionic concentration.
